High Marks for Harrisburg, Pa. Airport
16 August 2006Friendly, clean, courteous, friendly, fast, spacious, quiet and did I mention it was friendly. Very pleasant experience. Reminded me of flying out of a private terminal. Security still in force as evidenced by the business traveler in front of me “randomly” selected for a bag search before boarding.
Here is a big tip - if you are going to take liquids and/or gels in you carryon luggage (I am not advising this) do yourself a favor and time your boarding to be right after a person has already been selected for random search.
Renting a car and leaving the airport - real easy. Returning real easy but a little bit of a hike to the terminal. Good - could use the exercise. Howver this is August and I am thinking that in January I might feel a bit different about that walk.
